The Novaraptors are the bosses in Slender Fortress.

Description[]

Novaraptors are cunning, vicious, stealthy, and above all else intelligent pack hunters; they can be your worst nightmare if you don’t prepare for them. Grouping together while coming face to face with a Novaraptor pack is essential to avoid being ambushed or surrounded. They are efficient, capable of dispatching with their victims in a matter of seconds. They are also swift and agile, with an outstanding ability to jump, and can traverse obstacles with ease.

Novaraptor (New Thief) is an entirely new species of raptor created through advanced genetic techniques. They are stronger and have far more endurance than their unmodified counterparts and as such are far more dangerous. There are currently known to be two variations of Novaraptor on the island, so be extra vigilant.

In Slender Fortress[]

The Raptors are part of the Boss Pack 2. They emit a low growling sound when idle, and when they attack a player they do a loud screech. The Raptors attack in large numbers and are fast. On top of that, Novaraptors can investigate noises.

Fortunately, their speed and numbers are justified by their inability to instantly kill any class. In addition, they are not very persistent in their own right: 9 seconds will be enough against a single member. (This number assumes that the player makes an effort to get out of sight.)

Raptors can also mark the player for death on scare for 4 seconds. However, when you hit them enough times, the raptor will go away for short time.

Instant Kill: No

Wandering: Yes

Persistence: 9 seconds
