Anathema is a boss in Slender Fortress.
Description[]
Anathema is a term with several meanings. It derives from Greek ἀνάθεμα, which meant "something dedicated" and, in the Septuagint and New Testament, "something dedicated to evil and thus accursed."
In general usage, the word "anathema" means vehement disagreement with or dislike of something.
Examples: "Some people consider this definition anathema;" or "Doing homework after school is a complete anathema to her;" or "That political party would paint as anathema any idea not their own, no matter how good it is."

In Slender Fortress[]
Anathema is a Boss in Boss Pack 2 and the Original Pack. This boss is not only extremely fast, but it's also pretty persistent. It won't kill on touch anymore, but rather hit you with an invisible attack. This attack isn't meant to kill, but anyone who takes a hit will be lit on fire. It can also be stunned by flashlight, giving much more time to escape. It can wander freely despite being hard to escape, but this is offset by the fact that looking at it will halt it when wandering. Telling where it is is made even easier by the fact that it has a big, white, frontal glow. All of the previous details applies to the Classic Variant.
Recommended Classes[]
- Scout & Demo have a high chance of escaping it, but the rather long chase duration might beat them in the long run.
- Pyro can not only escape if he is holding the Powerjack, but he can also resist the fire damage after living a hit.
- Engineer can stun it quicker, but Engineer is also less likely to outrun Anathema).
- Spy is also good for sneaking around, especially when taking Anathema's good hearing into consideration.
